About Us

The Historical Police Vehicles Registry was formed in Melbourne Australia in 2003 by my God Father who was a member of the Victoria Police, Sargent Cliff Tarrent who had the desire to restore old Police Vehicles & Equipment and due to ill health had passed away and in his "Will" the Historical Police Vehicles Registry was passed onto its former owner Slade Yuille who is devoted to keep this registry strong and active.
Slade Yuille is an Australian Motoring Sportsman with his award winning 1988 Subaru GT 4WD Touring Wagon which has won over 1000 Trophies and Awards and represented his country Australia at various Charity Car Show and assisted raising over 1.3 million dollars for local charities.
The Historical Police Vehicles Registry will Uphold The Right To Search & Restore all old police vehicles and equipment within Australia and overseas.
I invite everyone including members of various Police Departments within Australia and  overseas to be involved in this registry and supply their points of interest so others can learn of their experiences.
At present we have over 50000 members worldwide and we plan to increase this as years go on and we invite all serving, retired and people that have interest in restoring old police vehicles to become involved within this registry.
There are no membership fees and is free to join
The Historical Police Vehicles Registry is based on the belief that our members are of the utmost importance and we are a team that is committed to meeting those needs.
We welcome you to be part of this registry and invite you to contact us with information of your current or ex police car, motor cycle, other police transportation and equipment.
